Chef Aaron Atchison is the Owner/ Chef de Cuisine at Janohn’s.  When he isn’t playing his music, Aaron is conjuring up new ideas for the food at Janohn’s.  Chef Aaron is a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu culinary academy in Austin, TX.  He has trained under Chef Harvey Harris, owner and chef of Sienna in the Texas hill country.  He has extensively trained under Chef Fumiharu Hirose, executive chef of the Okura Hotel in Japan.  Chef Hirose was trained by the legendary Paul Bocuse.  Aaron’s motto is simple:  Love what you do.

We’re fiercely independent, priding ourselves on simple, honest, southern cuisine. Obsessively, we seek the best, most mouth-watering ingredients we can find locally from farmers, growers, makers and markets… fusing them together to create innovative flavors and vibrant, sumptuous dishes,  We put our passion for your palate on a plate.

Open for dinner service Wednesday & Thursday 5-10pm, and Friday & Saturday 5-11pm. Every dish we serve is lovingly handmade with heart from our home in Boyce, LA.
